Make lasting family memories at this renovated lakefront home located on the quiet Great Cove section of Lake Hopatcong. Private waterfront includes 60 ft. dock, sandy beach and shallow to deep swimming area. Dock accommodates one boat. Enjoy beautiful lake and sunset views from large living room windows, outdoor deck, patio and many viewing areas around the property. Upstairs master bedroom has queen bed with connecting bath and a/c unit. Downstairs bedroom has queen bed, connecting bath, a/c unit and pullout sofa. Loft area has double sized futon bed, good for one adult or two small children. Additional pullout sofa in living room. Fully equipped, eat in kitchen with seating for 6 and 2 more at the counter. Ceiling fans and hardwood floors throughout. Large selection of books, toys. Two stand up paddle boards and rowboat available for use. Monthly/full summer rentals preferred. Summary: Couples vacation. Nothing planned outside of R&R. Very nice waterfront with chairs where we spent a lot of our time. Beautiful sunsets! We brought our boat and there was a great provision for docking, while having plenty of room for other water activities-swimming, floating, and we also enjoyed using the paddle boards. Inside a spacious kitchen that was great for breakfast and board games. Everything was clean comfortable and as described. Many great eateries nearby. Recommend trying places away from the water for food quality, lakeside dining ambience cannot be beat. All in all a nice place to stay in a great location. Beth was very responsive and accommodating host. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Beth & Todd.

Summary: My husband and I were looking for a week that we could be away with just our family of four and no distractions. Who knew we could get just that 45 minutes from home at Lake Hopatcong. The lake house exceeded our expectations. It was super clean, well stocked with one too many toys and situated on the best part of the lake with amazing views. The dock was great to have since we rented a boat for the week and were able to dock it to one side so that our toddler could play on the private beach on the other side. The swimming area was perfect to keep cool on the summer days and for watching little fish swim by. The house has two comfortable bedrooms with bathrooms and the kitchen is so large with plenty of space to cook. The outdoor space provides lots of seating and the yards, both front and back are well landscaped to create privacy from the neighbors. We will most definitely be renting this house again next summer or even sooner. Beth, the owner is also a pleasure to work with. Can't wait to go back!

Summary: This home was immaculate and had some very thoughtful touches like toothpaste, shampoo, plenty of pillows and towels, etc. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well-equipped and the lake just outside the door. There is a very steep, long set of steps from the street to the house which I hadn't anticipated and the lower level bedroom was less cozy than upstairs (door to outside, tile floor) - other than that, everything was better than expected. Overall, a very pleasant visit and Beth was responsive and easy to work with.

Summary: This is a majestic, peaceful & charming Lake house that has everything you need at your finger tips. My 2 daughters 6yr old & 4 yr old fell in love with the house & spent every waking hour swimming in the lake with the convince of a little beach. It was the most relaxing holiday I've had in a long time & will certainly be returning.

Summary: Rented this house on Lake Hopatcong for most of the Summer with my wife and 2 kids. Best Summer ever! The house has everything you could want and is in terrific shape. The views from the deck, especially in the evening are spectacular. It was our spot for dinner every night. The zero entry beach is a true gem for the adults and the kids. Great views of the sailing races on the weekends. We would have rented again but ended up buying a house on the lake. Happy we found a house but will miss this one.

Summary: My family spent a week at this wonderful home right on Lake Hopatcong. My son woke every morning and ran out to the boat ramp, armed with a fishing pole and bait, delighted to catch numerous sunnies and even a trout! My three children spent afternoons playing in the lake and racing down the slide. We sat on the deck overlooking the water and watched to sun set and fireworks. The house is beautifully maintained and well-stocked. Access to route 80 and anywhere you need to go is very convenient. We loved staying in this fantastic family home and look forward to coming again next year!

Summary: We just returned from a fabulous week on Lake Hopatcong. We did not know what to expect, but this property exceeded our expectations. It is well-situated, set off the road on a quiet street on a quiet end of the lake. The house and property is very clean, well-maintained, and charming, and the kitchen is well-equipped for those who like to cook. Our boys were pleased to discover a great sleeping alcove accessed by a sturdy ladder, a cupboard of toys, and floats down by the water. Swimming access is easy, and the water slide into the lake was a big hit with the kids! It was a lot of fun to fish right from the dock and to launch our canoe from there as well. The lake views from this property are extremely nice from the living room, and there are also multiple places to sit outside to enjoy the pretty view. The way the property is landscaped makes it feel very private. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to landscape in a creative way with many plantings, little paths, and places to take in the view. The lake was quiet during the week, and busy with many motorboats on the weekend. The only challenge with this home is that the walk down from the parking area to the house is a bit treacherous with multiple levels of steep steps (all with railings), so this home is not ideal for anyone who has difficulty walking up and down uneven steps. For us it was a bit of a fun adventure! While we stayed at the lake we found lots of nearby road trips that were fun for kids including: multiple mini-golf locations, boat rental and fishing equipment shops, pick-you-own-fruit farms, the Lakota Wolf Preserve, and The Land of Make Believe (a little honky tonk and overcrowded, but our kids loved the water slides.) This bungalow is charming, the property is lovely, the owners are very pleasant, and we will be delighted to visit again!

Summary: I've been to a number of lake houses in my time and this happens to be one of the nicest! Right on the lake with outstanding views, this cozy bungalow has all the modern amenities one could hope for. Great renovations, modern kitchen, lovely landscaping, powerful air conditioning, nice furnishings - you can tell the owners of this home put a lot of love into it. It doesn't come with a boat but we rented one at a marina that is less than 5 minutes away and brought it right to the private dock. Great weekend at a great house!
